Cricket Maketh the Man !

What more challenging complete pastime can there be???

Oh for the sound of leather on willow..........
To compete and overcome the ferocity of the fast bowler......
to get in the way bravely of that crashing cover drive....
the preparation of the battling gladiator live.........
the humility of that long pavilion walk back.....
the ringing in your ears of the sound of quack! quack!.....
as you toil the whole day with the rain on your back.....
grateful for a cup of tea and a sandwich of......
they say thats the stuff empire builders are made of!!

Cricket certainly maketh the man!
Have you got what it takes?
